Due to its strong hardness and high stain resistance, quartz is widely used for kitchen countertops and bathroom vanity tops. We also supply countertops and vanity tops for projects and wholesale.
What is the difference between quartz and quartzite?
Briefly speaking, quartz is artificial, while quartzite is natural. Quartz is an engineered stone, made of resin, silica sand, and other material.
Good quality one contains more than 90% loose quartz. Quartzite is a metamorphic rock with more than 85% natural quartz.
It is an effect of the recrystallization of sandstone and other siliceous rocks under the activities of the earth’s crust. Generally, its price is higher than quartz stone.
How to process quartz countertops?
The first step is to calculate the material usage rate according to the drawings or sizes. And then select the big slabs in suitable sizes to cut.
After cutting, we drill the holes, cut out the sinks, and polish edges. Finally, inspect and pack the finished countertops.
