About The Madreperola Quartzite You Need To Know
Origin from Brazil, Madreperola quartzite is light grey quartzite with a very affordable price, if you are choosing an economical light quartzite for your own house decoration, this stone is a very good choice. Light gray with some light beige color is its hue, and the colors have a direction, like the waves, which makes the stone not boring. Some slabs may have white lines, and their prices will be lower.
Compared with other quartzites, its price is good, so it can be used in a large area. Quartzite is a natural mineral whose hardness is second only to diamond in nature.
Its surface hardness can be as high as 7.5 on the Mohs scale. It is much larger than the knife and spatula used in the kitchen and will not be scratched by it.

We have an inventory of 1.8cm (3/4”) thick Madreperola Quartzite slabs regularly, because of the beautiful veins, the slabs are in book match polished usually.
We also have blocks in stock, that can be cut at the customer’s request, 2.5cm, 3.0cm (1 1/8”), and 4.0cm, etc are available and the honed (matt) surface is also workable.
