About Porphyry Stone you need to know.
Porphyry is a neutral, acidic or alkaline igneous rock (which can be intrusive or extrusive) with a porphyry structure. They are usually scattered among finely crystalline minerals called “matrix”. It is a general term for igneous rocks characterized by porphyritic structures, and is a name given to rocks by structural features. It is relatively strong and can be used as a building material. The phenocrysts are generally composed of alkaline feldspar or quartz, and the matrix is fine-grained or cryptocrystalline (vitreous).
We have 6 types of Porphyry Stone available, all of them are sourced China.
3 types Red Porphyry Stone
1# Red Porphyry Stone, It is the strongest of red porphyry and has the strongest frost resistance.
2# Red Porphyry Stone, It is the second choice if need strong frost resistance. It’s vein cut and cross cut is different.
3# Red Porphyry Stone, the best price one but the frost resistance not good as 1# and 2#.
Brown Porphyry Stone & Green Porphyry Stone
These two has strong frost resistance as 1# Red Porphyry. Very popular for Euro and Asia market, mix color or monochrome are welcome.
Grey Porphyry Stone
Different with other Porphyry Stone, it will have white veins. Based on how to use it.
Different effects of different processing surfaces.
The structure of porphyry is close to that of granite, so their surface are similar. They can do Polished, Honed, Flamed, Brushed, Natrual Split, Bush Hammered, chiselled and so on.

1.Half slabs, actually some of the blocks can cut big slabs too. That mean big size is workable.

3.Mushroom stone, popular for exterior wall.
4.Ice crack finish, special design for exterior floor.
5.Cube stone, natural split, polished, flamed, saw cut finish are welcome, and it can be composed of various shapes.
